All approved "Rogue Enforcers" must follow these Rules. Failure to do so will result in an infraction and/or removal from the program. This is an application only program, and you must be approved before partaking in any sort of Dirty Cop RP. Everyone else still must follow the NO DIRTY COP RULE.
IF any player is not OK with Dirty Cop RP , simply tell the officer "I am not ok with this type of enforcement " and that will be the officer's cue to follow their First Rule as listed here. If they refuse to comply , report them.
We currently have only a handful of people qualified for this type of RP. If you are unsure what you are experiencing is ok or not , Report it !
Rules for Rogue Enforcement
Mutual Enjoyment and Consent: Dirty Cop RP must prioritize fun for all parties involved. Interactions should be engaging, immersive, and driven by mutual agreement to ensure no one feels forced into the narrative. Know who you are Roleplaying with, if they may possibly not be open to this , do not do it.
Balance and Fairness: Avoid overpowering or “god-mode” behavior. Dirty cops must remain vulnerable and subject to reasonable consequences for their actions, including strikes, and termination, ensuring a balanced and fair experience.
If any of the player's other characters are in a Gang, their PD character cannot do anything that would be considered beneficial towards that gang . You can still interact with them and do anything else you would to others, just nothing that would give them the upper hand or any sort of special assistance.
Respect for Server Rules: All Dirty Cop RP must adhere to server rules. No exceptions.
No Body Dumping or Undue Strife: Dirty Cop RP should never involve permanently killing or body dumping other players without prior consent. Actions must avoid causing unnecessary tension or animosity within the community.
In-Character Motivation: All actions must stem from the dirty cop's in-character motivations. Avoid any out-of-character grudges or biases affecting RP.
Subtlety and Creativity: Operate discreetly and focus on nuanced corruption like accepting bribes, tampering with evidence, or helping criminals. Avoid overt or chaotic behavior that disrupts immersion. You CANNOT give out or sell any sort of Items from the Armory, from Evidence, or from any other PD source.
Story Enrichment: Use Dirty Cop RP to foster compelling storylines like investigations, courtroom drama, or criminal-police negotiations, encouraging participation from the broader community, if the RP is having the opposite effect you will be asked to cease immediately.
Communication and Collaboration: If confusion or tension arises, resolve it through clear out-of-character communication to ensure everyone remains aligned and the RP stays enjoyable.
Avoid Excessive Collusion: Limit favoritism toward specific criminal groups or players to maintain server balance and fairness while ensuring the narrative remains unpredictable and engaging for all.
