What is Pure Mode?

Pure mode essentially forces you to join Stellar Roleplay with a fresh copy of FiveM, eliminating the ability for game modifications and hacked clients to be preloaded on launch. This is done as a safeguard to our players to greatly reduce the affect of Modders against the server that have caused immense chaos on a regular basis in the past.

Q: The game keeps prompting me to restart when I join, is there any way around this?

A: Yes, you can load FiveM in Pure Mode by default! Follow the guide below to set it up.

Pure Mode Shortcut Guide

Upon every connection to the server you will be prompted to close the game and restart in to 'pure mode'. This process can be long and repetitive, and this guide aims to remove this prompt. In order to do this, you will need to create a shortcut on your desktop. 

1. Create a Shortcut for Pure Mode

   • If you have a shortcut on your Desktop already you can copy it and rename the new one to FiveM Pure, or;

   • Alternatively, navigate to your FiveM Installation Directory (typically %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app), then right click on FiveM.exe and Select "Send to > Desktop (Create Shortcut)" then rename it to FiveM Pure. 

2. Once you have created the shortcut, Right Click and select Properties.

3. Under the Shortcut tab there will be an input field labelled Target which contains the path to the exe.
   Append -pure_1 to the end of this string.
   Example: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.app -pure_1 (Be sure to include the space before -pure_1).

4. Click Apply and then OK. 

Now whenever you wish to connect to Stellar Roleplay, you can use the FiveM Pure shortcut to load directly into pure mode!
