You must be 18 years of age or older to join Stellar RP.
If age is questioned, staff may require a private video sit with valid photo ID (showing only name, photo, and birthdate) to confirm eligibility, refusal, or failure results in removal.
The Code of Conduct outlines the policies and values that should guide the behavior of every SRP community member while enjoying your role play experience. The Code of Conduct applies to all of us, and if any individual does not align with SRP’s values the server owners reserve the right to remove or permanently ban those individuals to preserve the culture of the community.

You must be 18 years of age or older to join Stellar RP.
If age is questioned, staff may require a private video sit with valid photo ID (showing only name, photo, and birthdate) to confirm eligibility, refusal, or failure results in removal.
Repeating the same offense leads to a ban.
Anything from a warning to a permanent ban.
Usually a permanent ban on the first offense.
Note these are only baselines; each situation is different and will be handled at the discretion of SRP Leadership:
Would be how the normal increments would go, however, repeated rule breaks can lead to longer terms depending on the issues at hand.
*If you have been kicked/received a temporary ban from the server, you must open up a ban appeal ticket and talk to staff. This would be your final warning that repeated behavior needs to be corrected or it will result in a ban.
L1Can result in a warning, repeats of same offense will result in a Ban.
L2This is an infraction that can range anywhere from a warning to permanent ban depending on the issue, recurrence of similar issues, and your history in the server. These infractions are usually heavily investigated by Staff and a decision would be made after review.
L3L4Reserved for the worst offenses, usually resulting in a permanent ban for first offense.
Any offenses older than 6 months can be viewed as expired or invalid depending on what the issue was about.
All players must meet the following requirements to play in the SRP server or they will be promptly removed until the requirement(s) are met:
L3You must utilize the English Language in order to participate in any roleplay in the SRP server. Any other player around you should be able to understand and communicate with you.
L3Have a Discord account to receive updates, events, announcements, rule changes, and support from the SRP community.
L3Own a fully functioning microphone that produces quality and audible sounds, and speak with a clear and audible voice.
L3Have a respectful and realistic username on Discord and Steam, which is at the discretion of SRP leadership.
All players should behave in alignment with the values of the SRP community at all times. The following are rules to govern interactions within the game; however, it is not all encompassing and SRP leaders reserve the right to deploy disciplinary action in accordance to their discretion even if there isn’t a rule specifically outlined below.
The SRP leadership team is fully committed to thoroughly investigating any and all incidents, please do not take matters into your own hands (e.g. back seat admin). Report through the proper channels, so that your concern(s) can be adequately addressed by SRP Leadership. Please make an appropriate ticket depending on your issue. Do NOT approach Staff within RP with issues of any kind.
L4 Making Out of Character derogatory or discriminatory comments targeting individuals belonging to legally protected categories, such as race, gender, religion, nationality, age, disabilities, citizenship, sexual orientation, and gender identity, is strictly forbidden.
Additionally, any Out of Character threats to someone’s safety are not permitted. Our Community is not welcome to those who would follow that path.
This rule applies to all forms of communication within our community in an OOC capacity, on the Stellar Discord, and that also now extends to Direct Messages (DMs), or any other outside contact between Stellar Community Members, the only exception being usage in an RP scenario(however this must be 100% part of roleplay).
To ensure transparency, community members are expected to provide evidence of DM conversations via live feed of any such incidents so that our Staff can make well-informed decisions. There is a statute of limitations to this as well, if the occurrence was more than 12 hours prior, it would be considered irrelevant to the current situation and circumstances. If it happens to you, report it immediately.
L4Poaching - Any attempt to invite to or suggest another FiveM server will be considered poaching if it is targeted towards Members of our Discord Community, regardless of where it takes place. This is grounds for removal from Discord immediately.
All rule break events MUST be reported within 12 hours of the event.
If you witness a rule break, please report it immediately! Any rule break events occurring past the 12 hour limit will be reviewed but most likely no action will be taken.
Players are expected to conduct themselves in good faith and uphold the spirit of roleplay at all times.
This means that even if a specific behavior or scenario is not explicitly written in the rules, players are still expected to act in a way that maintains immersion, fairness, and respect for the roleplay environment.
Exploiting loopholes, bending technicalities, or using unwritten gaps in the rules to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited. When in doubt, players should choose the action that best supports realistic roleplay integrity rather than searching for ways around the rules.
This encompasses any tools or modifications that manipulate in-game graphics or audio to grant an unfair edge.
Examples of such modifications include, but are not restricted to: disabling the sky, displaying hit markers, providing headshot alerts, altering footstep sounds, utilizing fisheye lenses for an extended field of view, using any sort of zoom-in ability, using tracers, changing kill notifications, eliminating weather effects, or modifying the appearance of in-game objects.
Graphic packs that enhance your FPS by altering or removing existing in-game items or scenery in a way that offers a competitive advantage are strictly prohibited. However, graphic packs like NVE are permissible, as they primarily enhance visual appeal without granting any gameplay advantages.
Steam/FiveM name:
Characters may NOT engage in:
L2 Follow the New Life Rule (NLR) when you Morgue, which states that if your character is force morgued (you “see the light”), you will have no memory of the last 15 minutes before you died, and that you are unable to return to the roleplay scenario, the scene of roleplay or general area of your death for 15 minutes after waking up at the hospital.
L2 Combat logging is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban. This does not include if your computer crashed or if you are having any other technical difficulties. Please immediately contact either @SASP Trooper, @EMS, and involved players in discord to let them know your circumstances. Examples include but are not limited to:
Players may force a morgue 15 minutes after dying even if in active RP, unless in custody with EMS or PD.
L2 Characters may NOT abuse:
/carry and /escort mechanic.
/me mechanic to communicate when dead
/911, /taxi or /mechanic functionality to call for assistance if you are completely unconscious. If you are only knocked down but still able to talk, then it is allowed, however, do not abuse it with spam, patience is key.
/report function - this function should only be used if there is a serious threat to the city, such as modders, or if asked by staff to assist you after opening a ticket. When stating the reason for /report, please give staff a brief overview of the incident in the chat
/emote function - do not abuse this in a way that gives you any sort of physical advantage in an active situation.
Props - any place-able props should not be used in any way as a form of griefing unless it makes sense for Roleplay reasons.
L2When a job or mission provides a specific vehicle for use, players must use that vehicle for the entire duration of the task. It is the players’ responsibility to ensure they are driving the correct vehicle assigned for the job. If the vehicle becomes stuck or bugged in some way, players should submit a bug report before trying to use another vehicle to finish that job.
L2 Characters must:
Foster an environment that is free from racial discrimination, any word used that negatively represents a race is not allowed, the use of the word beginning with F and ending with oT is also not allowed. There may be other words not listed here that will fall under the category of banned words, just be mindful of what you are saying.
Stay in character at all times while playing in the city, and leave any outside conflicts, outside of the game. If there is any issue within RP, complete the scenario and then report it after the RP has concluded.
Keep your characters separate. See the definition of character separation.
Never recognize that you have other characters. You do not have any cousins in the city (alts) and therefore have no knowledge of what they are actively pursuing. Additionally, please refrain from utilizing any powers or resources of your other characters to facilitate the progression of a different character.
Each character must have a distinct identity including but not limited to their personality, mannerisms, and voice. Players are expected to make a reasonable effort to differentiate their characters so they feel unique and believable within the RP world. Using the exact same voice for every character without variation is discouraged, as it breaks immersion and reduces the quality of roleplay for others. Even small changes such as pitch, tone, accent, or vocal quirks help establish individuality. Voice changers or simple vocal adjustments are acceptable tools to achieve this.
Initiate role play before you do anything hostile. See the definition of initiation.
Suicide roleplay of your character will result in permadeath immediately.
Voluntarily Perma’ing your character will void your ability to be able to transfer anything (i.e. inheritance) to your new character. This also means that you cannot receive any donation credits that were spent on that character as a refund. If you choose to give out your belongings to other players that is fine, as long as it’s done within RP, and never makes it back into your new character’s possession. However all item transfers must be included in a Support Ticket.
Body Cam / Recording Rule
To use footage as IC evidence or defense, the recording must visibly show a device in use, either a body cam, visible phone or a VISIBLE body cam device available to all individuals in the shop. Recordings without clear evidence of a device may be rejected. Staff may issue warnings or disciplinary action for misuse, with final say on what qualifies.
This does not apply to player reports, and is only for in character events/situations.
Players must act as though real-life consequences apply to their characters. This means treating law enforcement and life-threatening situations with appropriate seriousness. Examples include: not body-camping police, not shooting an officer without clear roleplay justification, and not ignoring the reality that attacking law enforcement brings immediate backup, prison time, and the possibility of prosecution in RP court. Your actions should reflect believable fear and respect for consequences, just as they would in real life.
Fear for (Value) your life when in dangerous situations (Fear RP). Some examples include, but are not limited to:
OOC (Out of Character): Any words or phrases used that do not apply to the Roleplay environment are prohibited. This includes referencing real life information, server mechanics or coding, staff actions, naming players instead of their character, or even using coded phrases that are intended to break character. There are many words or phrases that would be considered OOC, these are just a few examples:
W Cop, Fly-in Shooters, RP, RDM/VDM, NVL, Green Zone.
L2 Characters may NOT:
Prior interaction with proper initiation, as defined by SRP, must be established before a player can kill someone.
Killing on sight without initiation, including pets, is not allowed.
A vehicle is to be treated as a deadly weapon and may be used only as a last resort when no other options remain.
Running someone over without initiation is considered VDM.
Players must roleplay why lethal force with a vehicle is being used, ensuring it supports the roleplay and doesn’t shortcut the scene.
L2 Characters may not:
Exceptions include:
Additional Info / Example Scenarios:
L2 Characters may not:
Reasons for the Rule:
Examples are as follows:
Enforcement:
Violation of the rule may result in consequences ranging from a warning to a ban of varying degree, depending on the severity and frequency of the offense. Enforcement measures aim to ensure a fair and consistent application of the rule across all players. This may also result in demotion of rank in PD, or immediate removal from PD.
L2 Characters may not:
There will be a handful of officers who are approved for “Dirty Cop RP”, but they still must follow a specific list of guidelines and can be reported if they do not adhere to these guidelines. Please See the Rogue Enforcer Section of this website for a list of these Guidelines.
L2 Characters may not:
General Rules & Guidelines for flying:
L2 Acting out forbidden scenarios may result in a ban and/or permadeath of your character.
If anything takes place WITHIN ROLEPLAY that 100% actually offends or upsets you in some way, first attempt yourself to stop the situation within RP. Utilize all RP outlets to do so, whether that be your own voice, calling the Police in game, or calling a friend in game. If the actions still persist and you feel it’s a personal attack, and CAN be proven to NOT be RP related, then open a Report Ticket and we will discuss it further. If deemed necessary, Staff will step in and resolve the matter.
Toxic or ill-mannered behavior is not tolerated in this community. We expect all members to interact in good faith and contribute to a welcoming environment. Staff will determine what constitutes toxic behavior, which includes but is not limited to:
Persistent complaining, negativity, or nagging without attempting proper resolution (i.e., refusing to use tickets or communication channels).
Consistently hostile, dismissive, or inflammatory responses, use of emojis/reactions in Discord or in-game.
Berating, belittling, mocking, or talking down to others. (This includes staff)
Any behavior that diminishes the experience for the community at large.
We are all here to have fun — and maintaining a positive environment is non-negotiable.
First instance: A formal staff conversation and notice to correct behavior.
Failure to correct behavior after this notice: Permanent removal from the community.
There will be no repeated warnings for ongoing toxic conduct. You are responsible for managing your behavior. If you cannot, you will not remain in this community.
We discourage “playing the rules” instead of playing the role. Our goal is for everyone to follow the rules while focusing on genuine roleplay and fun not looking for ways to bait or trip others into breaking them.
All incidents related to misconduct should be reported via the SRP “Create-a-Ticket” Discord Channel by creating a “Player Report Ticket” and follow the instructions to populate the appropriate fields.
Reporting Item Loss - All items must be reported lost via a Support ticket within 48 hours of the event.
Exploitation of game mechanics is when a player takes advantage of a flaw in the system to use items in an unintended way.
Hacking/modding is gaining unauthorized access to information, data or using mod menus/software.
Any interaction between at least two characters (real or fake).
Metagaming is a term used in role-playing games, which describes a player’s use of real-life knowledge concerning the state of the game to determine their character’s actions, when said character has no relevant knowledge or awareness under the circumstances.
Never reference any of your other characters while on a different character (or characters/cousins of another character/person), you don’t know them, they are not your “cousin” or otherwise. Your character does not have any knowledge of them at all.
Power-gaming is the act of using/abusing an in-game mechanic, or a roleplay concept to favor their own character or story, and give them an unfair advantage by attempting to forcibly end a scene.
Harassment involves subjecting an individual to conduct which is unwanted and where the conduct has the purpose or effect of forcefully violating the victim’s dignity (i.e. rape or other sexual acts). If forced RP occurs that would fall in line with this, and you have no way to avoid the situation, please make a report ticket, each situation will be dealt with differently depending on circumstance.
When a person fails to roleplay properly, whether that be through going down an unrealistic route in history or intentionally disrupting the roleplay by trolling. If your actions don’t amount to any sort of roleplay or story, it can be deemed unfit and an infraction may be issued.
Initiation is required to engage in combat with another player. SRP defines initiation as the act of starting a role play scenario where at least one character has clearly stated their intentions verbally within shouting range, and the other character(s) has been allowed at least 5 seconds to respond with words or actions. The threat used must be a valid threat backed up by credible roleplay. You cannot simply just utter some words and rob or attack someone.
Morgue is synonymous with re-spawning, or otherwise dying, being revived, and restarting when you have NOT been taken care of by Nancy, EMS, Medkits or Evil Nancy.
Being healed refers to being brought to a medical care center and being seen by Nancy (or Evil Nancy) or being treated by EMS or a Medkit.
If your character is force morgued, you will have no memory of how you died or who killed you.
Combat logging is an attempt to avoid a scenario with an active player in game by leaving the game completely, this is especially true if done immediately upon death from another player.
Killing/running over a player for no reason and/or with no intention of roleplaying the incident.
A situation in which a character cannot reappear after having been killed.
This is when you don’t value your life in a threatening situation. You must always value your life no matter the circumstances (even if you feel the situation is stupid, make a report later on but play the scene out anyways). If someone has a gun to you, do what they say!
The ONLY exception to NVL is if you are witness to a violent life threatening act, against you or someone else in the group you are with, you would be allowed to enter fight or flight mode, either by running away, or fighting back. This applies also to being in a vehicle, you could attempt to drive away or run them over, if an attempt on your life is made.
