Jobs & activities

SRP has a wide range of jobs and activities for your role playing experience! While in the city you can pull up a more in depth guidebook with ‘/help’ to view most jobs/activities including player-owned businesses. Whitelist applications are available here and the discord. Not included here, or in the guidebook, is a ‘how to’ for criminal activities and crafting… find out in RP!

Jobs

  • Fishing

    Fishing does not require a city services job occupation. This is an activity you can do at any time that awards no salary. When you go to sell, how much money you receive is dependent on what you are fishing and how many.

  • Trucking

    Pick up work at the trucking depot and haul freight around the state. Take quick jobs or longer freight runs, team up with other drivers on convoys, and build your trucking career.

  • Taxi

    The taxi job is an NPC and player-based occupation that you will manage yourself. Pickup the job at city hall in order to access the job menu.

  • Lumberjack

    Being a lumberjack does not require a city services job occupation. This is an activity that you can do at any time and awards no salary. When you go to sell, how much money you receive is dependent on how much wood you sell. The higher level you are, the higher your pay. Make sure you watch out for the wildlife though!

  • Mining

    Mining does not require a city services job occupation. This is an activity that you can do at any time that awards no salary. This activity is very important to other activities and jobs in the city. Big money can come from selling to the local buyer or other citizens!

  • Garbage collector

    Being a garbage collector is a city services acquired job. Rent a vehicle and help keep the city clean by collecting the garbage bags on the ground. The more you collect, the more you make!

  • Scuba diving

    Gear up at the Dive Shop in Paleto Bay and rent a boat. Dive in the marked zones to open crates and pick up what you find. Leveling up unlocks bigger tanks so you can stay down longer, and you can dive alone or with a group.

  • Construction

    Construction is a contracted job that yields no paycheck from city services. The foreman at your assigned construction site will give you a set of tasks to complete for cash and experience. The more tasks you do, the more experience you gain and can do higher level contracts. Do this job with friends for even more fun!

  • Farming

    Place your own farm plots and grow crops from seed to harvest. Upgrade your tools, raise animals in pens and coops, and level up your farming skill as you go.

    Patrol, investigate and hold the line.

    Answer the call when the city goes wrong. EMS also covers firefighting, and its cyber docs install cybernetics (mechanics can too).
